Default Permission denied sorting mail in client

    Greetings,

I've researched this issue to no avail, so throwing it out to the community. We want to disable preferences access within the mail client but doing so will produce a permission denied dialog pop-up if a user clicks a mail column header to change the sort criteria; to sort email by "Subject" instead of "Received" time, for example.

Really feel like this is a bug, as doing something that innocuous should not be flagged by Zimbra as unauthorized access to preferences.

Any tips on how to work around this issue? If we have to turn on preferences, is there a way to selectively hide access to options like Trusted Addresses and Accounts?

    Zimbra version is 7.2.

    Thanks.
