    Hi,

I do not know how to set this value. Did you get any reply or did you find the way?

    Thanks.

    I found it in:

    /opt/zimbra/conf/zmconfigd.cf
    Change value to "yes" in:

    POSTCONF smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient yes
    Do not forget to:

    - restart your server once you have applied the change.
    - apply this change every single time you update your Zimbra server.

    Regards.

I'm affraid this change it is not enough :-( After a while, I can see MAILER-DAEMON mails in the server queue.

I must say I have not any CatchAllAddress in any of my three domains:

zmprov gd mydomain.com | grep CatchAll
    zimbraAdminConsoleCatchAllAddressEnabled: FALSE
    May you please help me?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I sent the value smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient how you described. I cannot see more or less mailer-daemon entries then before.
    I have not send a CatchAll-address either.
    Do you need a catchall-address?
Try this: zmprov modifyAccount <account>l@<domain> zimbraMailCatchAllAddress @<domain>

Never modify zmconfigd.cf. There is a corresponding Localconfig key for this, use it instead.

If zmconfigd.cf should not be modified, please show the zimbra way to change the value smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient.
    Thanks

Damn this one is hard coded. I'll fix that for ZCS 8.0.4.

Ok, fix for this is in ZCS 8.0.4. If you do the following, it'll carry over if you go from your current release to 8.0.4:

    Code:
    Modify zmconfigd.cf so it has:

            POSTCONF smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient LOCAL postfix_smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient

    zmlocalconfig -e postfix_smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient=yes

If there is a Bug ID for this I'd love to give it a vote. This step has been in my upgrade notes ever since I took over the system and did the upgrade from 6.x to 7.1.1. The main.cf.defaults file actually has it listed as "yes". It seems weird that Zimbra would revert a postfix default to allow backscatter.
