I am looking to migrate my 32-bit SuSE Enterprise server running our Zimbra server over to a 64-bit Ubuntu 10.04. We have been migrating to debian for all our systems over the past year and Ubuntu is debian based, so this would keep things more consistent as we leave the red hat linage.
I have read the WiKi article about migrating platforms and it seems straight forward...

But it brought up a thought. If I do a disaster recovery restore, do the message IDs stay intact?
So all the users out there that connect via IMAP or use the ZCO outlook connector, do they end up re-downloading all the messages?
- Cheers, Peter.
