Situation is this:

Server with backup of /opt/zimbra never actually had zimbra installed first before making a copy from the mail server w/ rsync every day.

Therefore I have data in /opt/zimbra on a backup server but no way to switch to this server if I had to, because zimbra was never properly installed.

Now, can I install zimbra to /opt/zimbra (after renaming my current data set /opt/zimbra.data), and then sync /opt/zimbra into /opt/zimbra.data, and FINALLY then sync my real mail data to /opt/zimbra.data to update all config files, etc, (and then rename zimbra.data back to just zimbra in /opt)

Would that work?
