Zimbra Migration Exchange

Hello;

my customer is working Microsoft Exchange Mail server, we can talked customer and we persuade use to Zimbra Mail Server. but we have got a one problem.

Customer is use to one Domain name and need to 2 mail server ( zimbra & Exchange ) 1 Domain 2 IP ( Server )

Domain is use to DNS A record mail.domainname.com >> go to Exchange mail server.

but we can need plus Zimbra mail server this sistem... and all domain name is not change....

mail.domainname.com >>> Zimbra and exchange Mail server

1 domain ( 2 IP adres, 2 Server ) is working ? is possible ?

how can I do this possible ?

A search of the forums will find the answer to most questions, you need a Split Domain - search the wiki for that.

actually I read it more document, wiki, forum.. but ı can not understand how can solve this splitDNS, 1 domain, 2 IP, 2 mail server ( zimbra - exchange ). how can do it document...how is possible ? do you have a special document ? thank you

I didn't say Split DNS I said Split Domain and that document is in the wiki, read the article and ask a specific question if you don't understand it.

did you creat split DNS ? actually I dont have idea creat...please dont wrong understand me I can install first... I will be install 2 mail server 1 domain but really I have not idea...

I have 2 server ( one zimbra, second exchange ) I have 1 domain ( zimbra.com )

how is possible work 1 domain with 2 server.

Do you have established earlier examples? do you have document ?

That is the only document, it tells you everything you need to know. As I said earlier, if you have specific questions about the configuration or that document then ask them.
