    Default Waiting for 7.2.2

    What's about 7.2.2 release?

    I've seen in http://pm.zimbra.com/pm_patch.php?pa...Helix&prod=zcs

    all verified.

In the past, once all the Requirements and Issues are marked as Verified, the version is deployed internally to Zimbra and utilized for a few days as a final check. In this version, several items were at one point marked as Reopened, so that puts the timing back to square one. After the version is run internally successfully for some period of time, Zimbra has released it publicly, but usually towards the beginning of the week. In that way, early NE adopters get the benefit of weekday Help Desk Support. In the past, Zimbra have been reluctant to publish a new release late in the week because, if there is a regression (undiscovered in testing but then discovered by customers), Zimbra's more thinly-staffed weekend Help Desk can find themselves in a pinch.

We actually prefer this "go slow" approach, and that several 7.2.2 fixes have been periodically marked as "Reopened" to me is a good sign that QA is doing a good job catching things.

If I were a gambler, I'd wager we might see 7.2.2 next week -- but that is total (some would say irresponsible!) speculation!

    YMMV.

    Happy Holidays,
    Mark

It was turned into a Zimlet so the feature can be enabled/disabled per admin user if you want. You need to go enable the Zimlet.
