Globally set custom authentication handler?

Hi!

We've developed custom authentication handler. The documentation in customauth.txt says that we need to provision each domain for this authentication handler. All clear.

Is there a server setting that we could provision so that we don't have to provision each domain in the server (and each new domain that will be created)?

Having looked at the source code of Zimbra OS edition I can see that the call is to retrieve this attribute from Domain object. The question is, whether defaults come from server configuration?

I can see that I can't set this attribute on a server level:
ms server.name zimbraAuthMech 'custom:foobar'
ERROR: service.INVALID_REQUEST (invalid request: LDAP schema violation: [LDAP: error code 65 - attribute 'zimbraAuthMech' not allowed])
