Default Wrong header when sending mails from alias address in webmail

I have a problem with sending mails from alias address in webmail.

The mail is transmittet to the recipient with the right address in the mail.
But the big problem is that in the mail header is my real address.

The real problem is that i have a local_only_domain where all users are stored @company.local
Than i have users that have real addresses like @company.com

Now the user xyz@company.local like to send an email to another company with the email address xyz@company.com and the recipient server says

    said: 550 5.1.8 Cannot resolve your domain {company.local}

I have found the option zimbraMailCanonicalAddress that works for one domain.

But we have more than one Domain to send emails from.

I have this Problem on FOSS 7.2.1 and on FOSS 7.1.1 and Netwok edititon 7.2.1

What can i do to solve this problem ?

As no one has answered here, i am also testing Zimbra (v8), and have noticed the same "problem".

Murcury mail server never did this, it would set the return path the name of the account sending the email (even from aliases). The only way i can think of getting around this would be to create you "main" accounts under your "real" domain name, meaning the return address would be this domain instead of the "local" one you have the users under.

This is something i have noticed as well (as other domain issues when using alias which at this point unless i find an answer i cant move from Microsoft Exchange server).
    Many Thanks

Is there no one who has an Answer ?

With this real big problem i can not sell Zimbra Servers any more.

I think 500 user accounts are not enough.

I direct my outgoing mail through a smarthost running exim and use a rewrite rule to make mail coming from xyz@fred.local become xyz@fred.com.

It's not optimal, but it was quick and easy.

I found the answer to this...

    Code:
    zmprov mc default zimbraSmtpRestrictEnvelopeFrom FALSE
To check the above command worked "zmprov gc default zimbraSmtpRestrictEnvelopeFrom" do this before and after the command.

This will stop the mail comming "from" the defualt account and put the "real" sender at the top of the header....
    Many Thanks

I have checked the behavior again and it does not work.

In the Mailheader is nothing to read no user@damil.local and no user@domain.com.

When i look in the recipient servers log i see that the communication between the servers look like "mail from user@domain.local"
