    Not yet. I'm having the same issue. It'd be nice to see a checkbox incorporated into the config page of MTA. I'm afraid if I get it working, as soon as there's an update, it'll break it again.

    I'd think that this should be something that is a default setting.

    Note : This does work on my server - for now. I'm running Release 8.0.6.GA.5922.UBUNTU12.64 UBUNTU12_64 FOSS edition

    Hi,

    I'm running Release 8.0.6.GA.5922.UBUNTU12.64 UBUNTU12_64 FOSS edition too.

    More info ..

    Connecting...
    SMTP -> FROM SERVER:
    220 mail.server.com.br ESMTP Postfix
    SMTP -> FROM SERVER:

    250-SIZE 31457280
    250-VRFY
    250-ETRN
    250-STARTTLS
    250-AUTH PLAIN LOGIN
    250-AUTH=PLAIN LOGIN
    250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES
    250 8BITMIME
    MAIL FROM: carlos12@server.com.br
    SMTP -> FROM SERVER:
    250 2.1.0 Ok
    RCPT TO: carlos@server.com.br
    SMTP -> FROM SERVER:
    250 2.1.5 Ok
    Sending Mail Message Body...
    SMTP -> FROM SERVER:
    354 End data with .
    SMTP -> FROM SERVER:
    250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as AC946185E104
    Message completed successfully.

    In this case, the username carlos12@server.com.br not exist on the server.

    However, the e-mail sent to carlos@server.com.br was delivered.

    The remaining cases were fixed.

    Hi, i solved this.

    1o. Zimbra 8 Restrict Posfix Senders?
    2o. Rejecting false "mail from" addresses - Zimbra :: Wiki
    -> add all domains
    3o. Domain level blocking of users - Zimbra :: Wiki
    -> add root@hostname.domainname

    Hi ..

    palash your proxy_read_maps.cf itīs OK.

    you followed the steps you told? where it says:

    vi /opt/zimbra/conf/zmconfigd.cf file (will need to change permission in order to edit ... chmod 644 - dont forget to change back to 444 after)

    Add below -- POSTCONF smtpd_recipient_restrictions FILE zmconfigd/postfix_recipient_restrictions.cf

    and

    Add below -- POSTCONF smtpd_sender_restrictions FILE zmconfigd/smtpd_sender_restrictions.cf

    ------------

    Next enter directory /opt/zimbra/conf/zmconfigd/

    vi smtpd_sender_restrictions.cf (again you will need to change permissions to 644, then change back after editing)

    permit_mynetworks, reject_sender_login_mismatch

    (note, input this in the begin of file)

    takes the hostname and password using

    ( FOR LDAP donīt LDAP(S)

    grep server_host /opt/zimbra/conf/ldap-vam.cf

    grep bind_pw /opt/zimbra/conf/ldap-vam.cf

    create a file - /opt/zimbra/conf/ldap-slm.cf

    server_host = ldap://YOURHOSTNAME:389
    server_port = 389
    search_base =

    version = 3
    start_tls = yes
    tls_ca_cert_dir = /opt/zimbra/conf/ca
    bind = yes
    bind_dn = uid=zmpostfix,cn=appaccts,cn=zimbra
