I've searched and can't find anything on this. That tells me I might not be thinking about the best way to do this.
I have a group of several users who all need to see email messages to the group. This is for internal communication within the group. Here is a quick example:
Distribution list: firstname.lastname@example.org
Distribution list members:
I had planned to setup a distribution list and that each member would send or reply to the distribution list address. However, the sender then receives a copy of what they sent (because they are a member of the distribution list).
Is there a way to filter this so that the sender doesn't receive a copy of their own message? In other words, if email@example.com sends (or replies to) a message to firstname.lastname@example.org, is there are way to keep that message from being delivered to user1's inbox while being delivered to user2 and user3?
Maybe a distribution list is not the right tool for this job. Is there a better way to do this?
