Default Untrusted Server Certificate Chain Error

Hi all,

I had several errors while launching CLI commands, and it turns all around a server certificate problem, for example :
Code:
[zimbra@myserver ~]$ zmhsm -u
[] ERROR: java.security.cert.CertificateExpiredException: NotAfter: Wed Nov 01 15:44:04 CET 2006
java.security.cert.CertificateException: Untrusted Server Certificate Chain
usage: zmhsm <options>
Same error while entering the zmbackupquery command.

As I'm not a specialist concerning security certificates, I prefer to ask you before performing any action :
- What does it mean ?
- What can I do ?

I've then noticed the logger service was often down : each time I connect to the ssh console of the RedHat hosting Zimbra (every 2 days approximately), I see the logger down ...

Can it be a part of the problem described upon ?

If this is a self-signed certificate you need to follow the instructions in the wiki to regenerate it.

I am getting this error too. Can I forego these steps to recreate the cert by upgrading from 4.5.2 NE to 4.5.5 NE?

The upgrade should create a new self-signed certificate.
