    Default Output message domain

    Hi friends...

I installed Zimbra server 7.x here.
I set up some accounts and works fine.

But, when I installed the system, I need set the server name as zimbra.domain.com, but all my mail's get out from server as

    USER@ZIMBRA.DOMAIN.COM

But I need that mail's get out as

    USER@DOMAIN.COM

For now, I use the comando below to provide this:

    zmprov ma user@zimbra.domain.com zimbraMailCanonicalAddress user@domain.com

Just to mail from user get out like @domain.com, suppress zimbra.domain.com...

Is there a easy way to fix that??

    Thanks

You've already had one (correct) answer to your question about the domain, the other answer would be to rename the domain - search the wiki and forums for details.

    Hi Bill...

I don't understand what your point of view...
What is the correct answer?? Apply zmprov command to all account??

Otherwise, I image that I can use a catch all domain to alter all account domain...

    What do you think?

    Thanks

No, I've already answered your original question - you need to rename the domain. For clarification you change the domain name from 'zimbra.comain.com to 'domain.com' and your mail will go out with the correct domain name - isn't that what you want? Details of how to do that are in the wiki (and many forum threads) if you search for the words 'rename domain'. You should also take a backup before you make any changes to your server.

That's not the correct answer and if you don't want to receive tons of spam then don't use a catch-all. You're making this more difficult than it needs to be.
