Attach some text to each SMTP sent message

Are you using port 25 to relay from clients directly ? Or are you using port 587 which is the mail submission port for authorised SMTP on the server.

I use port 587 from Thunderbird and my outgoing external emails have the disclaimer appended. Works exactly the same as emails from the web client.

I've just tested with port 25 and port 587, and no one is working with disclaimer; no altermime line in log file..
UPDATE:
It seems that works only if the sender is a valid email in the server; if i send an email from xxx@test.com using the server no disclaimer is appended.
