Question 4.0.5 beta address book import error

I have a contacts.csv file that I created with outlook 2003 and it imported fine in to 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 but in 4.0.5 beta it imports one 1 address (the 74th one) out of 366 addresses and give this error:

name - TypeError
message - 'null' is null or not an object
number - -2146823281
description - 'null' is null or not an object

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jim...

Is the csv file in the correct format? Have a look at this post for the details.

I would have to assume it is since it imported just fine in to 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 unless the format changed and I didn't see that in the release notes.

Default Same problem

New installation of 4.5 Open Source edition shows the same error when importing from Outlook exported contacts in either dos or windows CSV format.

Did you follow the instructions from here?

I certainly looked at the instructions but it isn't resolving the issue since the issues is not how can I structure and export to fit the zimbra import, but more, why doesn't the zimbra import handle the default Outlook export format.

In other words, I shouldn't need to mess around with the export format to make it work for Zimbra. The field mappings should simply be correct for a default OL export.

This is especially true since it appears it used to work in older versions but broke in 4.5

Well, if changing the format of your csv file isn't the answer then vote for the bug and add your problem details to the report. Posting here doesn't make any difference to the development or problem resolution of the product.
