Zimbra LDAP for Redmine integration

My company i susing Redmine for project management.
Redmine supports LDAP authentication.

How it's possible to create read-only account in Zimbra OpenLDAP for Redmine access?

We use a standard account with restricted feature set (just no feature is enabled). This account can still connect to Zimbra-LDAP and read most of the attributes from all accounts, such as uid, givenName, sn and mail.
Drawback, you will lose one licensed account seat.

All non admin accounts are read only in LDAP.

Which version of Redmine do you use? I have just read through the release notes of 1.4 which contain LDAP - authenticate as user
. So, no need for a dedicated user anymore.

I think you are talking about paid NE edition. I'm using OSE.
