We are very pleased with the new features in ZCS 8.0. One issue that we are running into and would like to see if it is a bug or a work around could be done to make it work the way we feel it should.
We are trying to create a way for Staff members to have access to Address books by Grade Level, they should only have View Access, however we want them to be able to add contacts to their own Contact Groups.
In the first image you will see 1stGrade Address book the user has Manage access and is able to add the selected contacts to their own Contact group called Biology 1st.
In the second image you will see 2ndGrade Address book the user has View access and is unable to add the selected contacts to their own group.
I understand with Manage, the user could actually create a new Contact group in the Address book 1stGrade, and we don't want that to happen. So it brings us to the 2ndGrade address book, where the user should still have access to add the contacts to their own Contact Groups, but grey out Add New Contact Group .. or better yet, only allow the new contact group in their own address books.
