Removing smarthost configuration

Hi , there:

Our zimbra server is running now, routing the outgoing mail through ISP smarthost. We have a reliable E1 internet access, we like to remove the smarthost configuration. I tried to remove the smarthost configuration from the console, but does not work. May be it can be done with zimbra cli, but what is the correct syntax?

I do not have the test system at hand, but I think it should do with replacing your current smarthost with a blank entry.
That could be either done by the ModifyConfig command (though I don't know if it accept a blank value as valid value):

zmprov mcf zimbraMtaRelayHost

The other possibility is to try the ModifyServer command:

zmprov ms local.servername.domain zimbraMtaRelayHost

Again, I don't know if the comman accept a blank value as valid value.

So, I was a liitle early at work and started my test system. Running the command

zmprov mcf zimraMtaRelayHost ""

deletes the entry. You can verify it by calling

zmprov gacf | grep zimbraMtaRelayHost
