I don't see this admin extension. I can't find com_zimbra_viewmail.zip either, as in https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=54120. The zimlet is not packaged in release 8.0.0_GA_5434.UBUNTU10_64.20120907144627.
Maybe it is a problem in the Ubuntu 10.04 package while in other realeases (RH or Suse or Ubutnu 12.04 ) it is fine?

I just did the upgrade to version 12.04 of Ubuntu but still the same problem.

Looks like it is a common problem of Open Source Zimbra. Corresponding zimlet (com_zimbra_viewmail.zip) is listed in Network Edition as zimlet-network, and is missing in Open Source packages.

It is possible, though, to download NE packages, extract zimlet from there and deploy it in Open Source.

It worked in my setup (open source ZCS 8.0.0/RHEL6)

I just noticed this in mine. Has the "View Mail" option been changed to only be a licensed Network Edition feature, seriously? Please tell me this was just a packaging error...
