    Default Incremental backups are failing

    Release 7.2.0_GA_2669.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64 NETWORK edition, Patch 7.2.0_P1.

Full backups work just fine, but incremental does not. Any suggestions based of this error?

what kind of filesystem/mount is your backup set to be? it seems like it's trying to do a symlink maye and your filesystem might not support it

Ah, the backup mount is sshfs. Is there anyway around this? Any suggestions?

i doubt you're gonna get it to work with sshfs. i'd stick with nfs or an iscsi target

I am needing something that works well for remote backups, sshfs is the simplest that does support symlinks. I did now set the follow and transform symlinks flags to the ssh mount, but doesnt seem to make a difference.

Ok, so I got normal symlinking to work, but then i realized that zimbra uses hard links, which wont work with sshfs or even samba afaik (though samba is not even an option). I thought the --zipStore flag might avoid that requirement from an incremental, but that didnt seem to make a difference. Is there any way at all to do incremental without the hard link requirement?
