    Default Split Domain

I just need some clarification on a rather important piece. When referring to a split domain (to configure two servers on the same domain), are we referring to the same MAIL domain or the same AD domain. Due to the documentation I've read the implementation of this doesn't seem all that complicated but when I enter the commands to set up relay through the primary MTA as listed in Split Domain - Zimbra :: Wiki I get the following - ERROR: account. NO_SUCH_DOMAIN (no such domain: mydomain.net

From reading when the wiki was referring to making the dns records on the AD DNS server I assumed it was referencing a slit AD domain. That's how I configured it but I'm not sure why I would get this output because obviously my AD domain exists. Before I go back and switch everything I just want to know if I'm thinking the right thing rather than changing everything to match the mail domain (.com rather than .net)

This may be a very stupid question but I think it's worth asking.

    It's about mail (smtp) domain.

Before configuring the split domain, you need to create the domain.

O wow that's terribly sad on my part. My mistake it was already created I was just typing in OUR domain rather than the test one in those commands so once I put the right one in it worked >.< Even though what you said wasn't my problem it made me realizing what I was doing wrong. Thanks I feel like a moron now lol.
