Default sending mail as different address

I was wondering if there was a way to send mail as an alias. I know you can receive mail under different aliases but is it possible to send mail with an alias?

Thanks

Randy

Default Version 4.5 will have this feature

Mail Identities is a new feature in 4.5 that does exactly what you're asking for.

Default "Mail Identities"

You can set them up using the "Mail Identities" tab in the options screen. (Not sure if this made the 4.5 beta1 release; it'll definitely be in 4.5.)
