s/mime (smime.p7m) Problem

hello,

we have Zimbra 7.2.0_GA_2669. (webinterface with firefox)

we get encypted mails from a partner. The content of the mail is attached (smime.p7m) but we can`t decrypt the mail.

Exist any solution how we can solve this problem?

-I try to import the certificate in firefox
-S/MIME-function is activated
-Zimbra Desktop Client

all things doesn`t work

can anyone help me?

Zimbra Desktop does not support S/MIME; it's zimbra web client only.

If you are seeing the smime.p7m as an attachment, then the applet is not being loaded in the web client. Did you enable the Secure Email zimlet under preferences for the end user? After doing that when you load the Zimbra Web client the applet should be invoked. Received signed & encrypted messages should then be rendered by the zimlet via the applet.

i enable the Secure-Mail-Option in the preferences. but the smime mail still has the .p7m-attachment again. i import the certificate, too.

Do you see any errors in the applet's Java Console log?
