Force locale

Dear sirs,
We have recently deployed Zimba Open Source in a company. They are mostly pleased, however, there is a problem. Due to broken IT policy, each OS is configured with different Regional settings. Also, users are allowed to install Firefox and Opera in addition to IE and they seldom remember to configure proper locale, as almost no other site except Zimbra is affected by this. This wreaks havoc with Zimbra date&calendar mgmt. Fixing locale on each computer is not feasible.

Please instruct, which source file / class is used to detect locale from web browser, so I can hardcode my prefered locale for all users? Hopefully, I will later create a table of exceptions.

I still think it's really important that default should be English or by browser setting, but IMHO the user NEED the possibility to select the interface language as wished.

I tried to follow the history of the bug from Aug 2008, unfortunately I couldn't get the status out of it.

Probably somebody can try to summarize for me? When is it targeted as fix ?

I don't really think you mean 2008.

You don't need to read the whole bug report. The important pieces of information are the Status & Target Milestone fields, they show that it's assigned to someone and that the target for a fix is the GunsNRoses release - that's the next but one major release. Release dates are dependent on may things but that release is probably around 4th quarter this year - don't hold me to that.
