Thanks for the prompt reply Vavai.

The given link talks about single mail fetch. Could anybody tell how to configure it for multi mail fetch and distribute using Zimbra to local network?

Default It is not working fine as expected.

Our configuration scenario is as follows.

Our internal domain zimbra-ccs.com all emails are on this internally configured. Our company public emails should be redirected to each email using fetchmail. Individually that is possible. But our catch all address can not configure with fetchmail to serve these emails as described above it is going to postmaster address.

Following is the .fetchmailrc file content.

    ### DOMAINPOP SETTING ###
    set no bouncemail
    set postmaster admin@zimbra-ccs.com
poll mail.company.com with protocol POP3, with options
    localdomains zimbra-ccs.com
    no dns
    envelope "Envelope-to"
user "testuser1@company.com" there with password "secret" is *
    here
    with options rewrite mimedecode keep
    pass8bits

ie. catch-all@company.com mails should distribute with respective available emails in the internal domain. Is it possible to configure this with Zimbra? How? What are the settings to takecare of?

Also can we set a valid email (respective_user@company.com) for all outgoing email from internal Zimbra server users?

Or should we use the same domain name as our public domain for our internal Zimbra server to work?

    Please help

    Thanks!

Why don't you take the easiest (and correct) route by getting the mail delivered directly to your server?

We have two offices so in our main office we are going to use Zimbra. Other office will use the existing public mail server. So we have to fetch mail from public mail server and give to Zimbra for local delivery.

How to configure Fetchmail with Zimbra for multidrop facility? What are the prerequisites? How would be the .fetchmailrc file look like?
    Please help.

That way we can set individual accounts to respective internal accounts. That is working fine.

For catch all account how would we set .fetchmailrc ?

    I always use /etc/fetchmailrc

    Code:
    set daemon 80
    set syslog

defaults proto apop timeout 180 uidl

    # single user fetch
    poll pop3.YOURDOMAIN.it
        user user1 pass pass1 to user1@domain.it
        user user2 pass pass2 to user2@domain.it

    # Catch-All
    poll pop3.anotherdomain.com proto pop3 envelope 1 "Delivered-To" localdomains zimbradomain.com:
user YOURCATCHALLACCOUNT with pass "CATCHALLPASS" to * here

    Hey guys, hello!

Stupid question of a noob Why cant a user just use preferences -> mail -> Account -> External Account to fetch those mails?

I did it like that with different accounts and now getting all my mails to my Mac Mail like a charme and automaticilly. Your users even can decide to get their mails via imap or pop3 and just leaving them on the public server for parallel access like from phones etc.
