    Default [Solved]Email not being delivered

Zimbra is not delivering mail to users it is deferring the mail that is being sent to users. It is able to sound out though as I have received email from the admin account in zimbra to my gmail account and my work email.

When I highlight one of the messages gives the reason as
Reason connect to mail.domain.net[external ip address of domain]:7025 connection timed out.
The origin ip is 127.0.0.1 and origin host says localhost.localdomain that doesn't seem right for some reason should it be the actual host? And origin domain is blank.

    Any ideas on this one?

This is what I get back from the mail server when sending mail in
This is the mail system at host mail.domain.net.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not
be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster.

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the attached returned message.

    The mail system

<admin@domain.net>: Host or domain name not found. Name service error
for name=mail.domain.net type=A: Host found but no data record of
    requested type

    Final-Recipient: rfc822; admin@domain.net
    Original-Recipient: rfc822;admin@domain.net
    Action: failed
    Status: 5.4.4
Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; Host or domain name not found. Name service error
for name=mail.domain.net type=A: Host found but no data record of
    requested type
And in the log files one of the message was
Jun 3 08:55:21 mail postfix/lmtp[10920]: connect to mail.domain.net[external ip address of domain]:7025: Connection timed out
    Jun 3 08:55:21 mail postfix/lmtp[10920]: EADC8122E80: to=<jturcich@domain.net>, relay=none, delay=21, delays=0.03/0.04/21/0, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (connect to mail.domain.net[50.37.4.254]:7025: Connection timed out)

Update to this when I send email in the message goes to the active queue sits there and then goes to the deferred queue, so zimbra is answering it is like zimbra is having issue looking at the dns for that domain.

That's correct and the answer is in your first post:

Reason connect to mail.domain.net[external ip address of domain]:7025 connection timed out.
You have a DNS problem unless this i no longer behind a NAT router?
