    Default Forwarding not working?

    Hi Folks

    Still feeling a little dumb - forwarding seems to be so easy to set up but isn't working on my Open Source edition. I'm beginning to wonder whether this is one of the missing features from the OS edition or whether I'm just stupid!

    Still testing the features of Zimbra and will end up one day with a professional version of the software but for now need to make sure everything works the way we need it to.

    I've set up a domain for a client which has two or three mailboxes, none of which should hold mail but should immediately forward anything incoming to another set of external Email addresses. So...

    Account 1 is: info@thisdomain.com

    Any incoming mail should go to two people. They are at:

    person1@nonlocaldomain.com
    person2@anothernonlocaldomain.com

    I set them up with a comma between them, one address only but nothing works. If I set up the forward to my own local account in the default domain on the server then I get the forward perfectly. Stumped!

    Any help gratefully appreciated.

    Is the server setup to actually email out to the world? Can you use webmail to send a test email through to those addresses from the server?

    Yes - otherwise, the server is working like a dream. The Email addresses I'm forwarding too are individually working fine. It's baffling that the server doesn't want to forward to the Internet but if the forward is to local addresses on the server it seems to work fine.
