    Default upgrading to 7.2 ....licence .... ?

    Hi folks,

I have a ZCS 7.1.4 running. I run it since version 6. But now I am confused!

I never had to use a license. Why should I now need a licence?

Sure I read the licence document, but I didnt completely understand what I have to do.
I registred me and got a mail with a licence.
What do I have to do to upgrade from 7.1.4. - Will the licence expire in maybe 2 month or some else?
I use the ZCS for me and my family, not productable stuff. The network edition is to expensive for this use. I hope I can use the ZCS as I used all the time. If It expires I think I will use my 7.1.4 for ever

Can somebody please help me on this topic? Upgrading/license/expire date?

    Thanks a lot!

If you're using the Open Source Edition of ZCS then you don't need a licence, if free - always has been and always will be. What's the exact filename that you've downloaded and why do you think you need a licence?

    Thanks Phoenix!

I klicked on the frontpage to "Downloads" then on the bottom of the page I klicked to ZCS OpenSource or better THIS LINK
... there you are, I have to register to get the download!

Whatever, Im now very happy that ZCS OpenSource will be free for ever.

    Thanks a lot again !

I will start upgrading my Zimbra now.

No you don't, further down the age page is this:

(I'd rather not fill in the form. Just take me to the download page)
The actual web page has a link to the downloads without any registration being required.

There is no question about a licence on that page, it only asks for registration if you want to complete that, otherwise choose the link further down the page.
