ahm interresting question and true verbosity level adjustments would not be bad but anyway
every minute means 1300 lines a day - is that really a problem or concern?

if its about analysing those logse use some scripts which can reduce the output - for this there several methods

I give you a hint, you have to complete your work. We don't have to... It's your's.

sometimes it would be easier they would just post their root accounts and creditcard numbers so we can drive their servers and charge the time
naa really whats next how to change root password ?

beside the wiki is a bit outdated but ok the basics are still correct

I don't think you can remove those log messages, without potentially removing other messages (which are at the same log level, for the same process) which are potentially useful.

To the best of my knowledge, your best option is to just ignore the messages (or instruct your log monitoring software/scripts to ignore them).

    Sorry!

    I've filed a bug on this: https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=73456

They are really useless messages, and they should be disabled by default.

    they are not useless

you can use em for a watchdog to autorestart the service
sometimes zmmailbox could crahs in certain conditions but its still in the processlist and pid is there too

for this its very usefull for example

also i think its used for th status in the webconsole to determine if a service is running or not -

actually theres no real way to determine if a running process is functional beside log entrys like this

so i dont wanna say its complete useless

it doesnt bother me because if im looking for something in the logs i have to grep that content anyway i dont care if there a few million lines more or less i see what i grep for

I suggest reading what I wrote in the bug.

Reporting every 30 seconds that things are OK is useless. Reporting when something is *not* OK is helpful.
Reporting when something went from not OK back to OK would be helpful.
