Question about deleting mails

Hi all, if I delete all the mails in a user mailbox (i.e. /opt/zimbra/store/0/7) and reindex the mail, do I get the same resault of deleting all mails from the web interdace?

I'm wondering that because I have the admin acount with hundreds thousand unusefull message.
I would like to empty it's mailbox without moving everything before to trash bin.

But it might be usefull also in other situation.

no, reindexing does not recreate the database. so you'd wind up with missing blobs but messages still showing in the message list in the web interface
