    Hi guys

    I have another issue that I'm not too sure on how to solve

    when composing a new message the signature has 2 line breaks BR tags to be exact inserted above it. How do I remove those so that the signature is right at the top of the new email?

    Code:
    Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

    <html><head><style type=3D'text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><=
    div style=3D'font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; colo=
    r: #000000'><br><br><div><span name=3D"x"></span><table width=3D"100%" bord=
    er=3D"0"><tbody><tr><td bgcolor=3D"#016529" style=3D"padding:15px;"><img al=

    "100%" border=3D"0"><tbody><tr><td><font face=3D"Calibri"><br><br><br></fon=

    /span><br></div></div></body></html>
    Is there a setting for a html header and a html footer? Or is the signature the only way to do this? I had thought of a workaround of a negative margin on the top table, but I'm not too sure if that would work Email html being what it is, and I have no means, as yet, of testing in each different version of Outlook, thunderbird etc.

    as an outgrowth to the double spacing issue I am having with regards to a new signature. Can anybody explain to me how a new message gets created in zimbra? What are the correct set of zimbra attributes that get added? Is there a wiki article that I can read?

    Sorry for the bump, but this thread seems the most appropiate.

    I have a running script, but I sill miss the option to set the default signature below and not above the message.

    Anyone? Thx!

    Code:
    #!/bin/bash
    #Make sure we run as zimbra user!
    #This script will get some ldap data and append html data with logo and law compliance text
    #Todo: check if signature exists
    #set name of signature
    signame=sig20years
    # Obtain all accounts in dept
    accounts=$(/opt/zimbra/bin/zmprov -l gaa)
    for account in $accounts; do
    echo -ne "Checking account: $account \n"
    echo -ne "Setting signature... \n"
    # Obtain LDAP user atributes
    signature=$(/opt/zimbra/bin/zmprov ga "$account" | egrep '(^cn|^title)' | cut -d : -f 2 | sed 's/^\ //g')
    #upload jpg to Briefcase, option -u needed if redirect is enabled
    /opt/zimbra/bin/zmmailbox -z -m $account postRestURL -u https://host --contentType image/jpg "/Briefcase/logo20years_small_blue.jpg" "/home/it/test/logo20years_small_blue.jpg"
    #Append html with logo and text
    htmltext="</div><div><div><img src='https://host/home/$account/Briefcase/logo.jpg' alt='asafasdfs' width='170' border='0' height='67'></a><div>Legal blabla</div></div></div>"
    signature="$signature $htmltext"
    # Set signature for account
    /opt/zimbra/bin/zmprov ma $account zimbraPrefMailSignatureEnabled TRUE
    /opt/zimbra/bin/zmprov csig $account $signame zimbraPrefMailSignatureHTML "$signature"
    #Get id and set it as default
    signatureid=$(/opt/zimbra/bin/zmprov getSignatures $account | grep -B 1 $signame | grep "Id" | cut -f 2 -d' ')
    /opt/zimbra/bin/zmprov ma $account zimbraPrefDefaultSignatureId "$signatureid"
    echo "done!"
    done

    As it seems, the picture is being uploaded correctly, the signature under preferences shows correctly, when composing the message the picture still shows in the signature, but when sending it's not being embedded into the mail,
    i.e.: no <img src="data:image/png;base64,.....

    What a shame! Any solution?

    Thanks
