We have a 2 shared calendars for colleagues to place their meeting and leave. However, we realize that when making appointments with them, it was the creator of these shared calendars that show up as busy despite he is free, while those are having meeting and are on leave show up as free instead.

If we are to have every colleague to have their own meeting and leave calendar and shared that instead, we will have over 20 shared calendars for a department with 10 staffs isn't it?

Is there any more effective method to have shared calendars while still able to handle who is really busy and free?

Also, is it possible to migrate the ownership of shared calendars to another account (common non-user account etc)? This is to correct the original creator's schedule not to show up as busy when another colleague use his shared calendar to mark his schedule as busy.
