Default [SOLVED] Migration problem - Mailbox service not starting ZCS7 OSE to ZCS7 OSE

Hey guys, I've been working relentlessly to get an ambitious migration from CentOS 5.7 x32 Zimbra 7.1.4 to Ubutu 10.04 x64 Zimbra 7.1.4 done.

So far I have followed the Network Edition: Moving from 32-bit to 64-bit Server - Zimbra :: Wiki guide step for step but the new server is failing at starting the mailbox.

The new server MX records checkout correctly as they needed to for it to install correctly.

    Code:
    zimbra@mail:~$ zmcontrol status
    Host mail.example.com
            antispam Running
            antivirus Running
            ldap Running
            logger Running
            mailbox Stopped
                    zmmailboxdctl is not running.
            mta Running
            snmp Running
            spell Running
            stats Running
            zmconfigd Running
    zimbra@mail:~$
The zimbralog shows this for errors

Any suggestions on getting this to start up correctly?

The /etc/passwd and /etc/group files have different IDs for the zimbra and postfix user, however attempting to set the new server's IDs to that of the old server it causes all of the services to fail to start as it says they do not have permission.

    *Sigh*

After doing some more digging around with searches, I looked at the actual mailboxd log, here is the error its spitting out...

There is no other mailserver on this machine, nor webserver, iptables is empty, and selinux isn't installed on ubuntu server as far as I know....

Upon attempting to change something with the mailbox service it instantly comes up with a java I/O error -

What could be making this happen?

my first guess would be permissions on the filesystem. re -run the set permissions step

Fixed permissions multiple times with, and it did nada.

    Code:
    /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmfixperms --verbose --extended

have you tried binding mailboxd to a specific ip address

is /opt/zimbra/log/zmmailboxd_manager.pid there before you startup zimbra if so have you tried deleting it before you start zimbra up

Do you have any how to's or information on rebinding the mailboxd to another IP address?

I just tried deleting the .pid file before starting zimbra and the mailboxd service still does not start.

Thank you for the reply though...

    Run as zimbra user:
    Code:
    keytool -list -keystore /opt/zimbra/jetty/etc/keystore -storepass `zmlocalconfig -m nokey -s mailboxd_keystore_password`
Does it return: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect ?
If yes, refer to Keystore password errors
