Angry Unable to receive mail from relay server

    Hello!

I'm trying to have Zimbra work with a remote external mail server so that all mail boxes would be stored away from Zimbra mailbox storage. So I have configured Zimbra OSE 7 to have mail delivered through the relay. The relay is a working Linux-based mail server out in the remote network with a bunch of mailboxes. Now I have Zimbra users authenticate with external OpenLDAP hosted by the same mail server. I can send emails thru that relay, but cannot receive. When I press Get Mail in the user web-interface, nothing happens. In the logs there are nothing about connection establishment or anything similar. The remote mail server has SMTP SSL enabled and IMAP TTL as well. Can Zimbra be configured in such a way?

I post the /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf/main.cf file for consideration. Looking forward to getting any ideas on the issue. Thanx in advance.

That's because of some issues my boss is concerned with. We are not planning to transfer mail accounts to Zimbra, but rather have existing mailboxes to be working as before.

That doesn't make sense, what security issues do you think there are?

Sorry. I do not know those issues. But as I found out from my boss we have Zimbra running on a virtual machine. The resources we are able to pay for now are limited. In order not to increase load on the Zimbra host, we have decided to configure the way I've described above. ((
