Default SPF Header doesnt seem to be appear

    Hi Folks,

I am working on Release 7.1.1_GA_3196.RHEL5_20110527011124 CentOS5 FOSS edition. and would like to set up SPF. Now the query is; as per this thread how to implement SPF

ZCS above 6.0 doesn't need to SPF packages to be installed, is it or is this included with ZCS already?

Previously I didn't know that hence I did install SPF per WIKI article, it seems successful but I am unable to confirm if Zimbra is really querying DNS for SPF? How do I add header for SPF or does any body know where to or which file to edit for enabling these settings?

You don't need to edit anything and as I mentioned in the original thread you quoted, send an email to a service that does SPF checking (such as gmail) and look at the headers. You could also try some of the checking tools available: +"test spf" +"how to" - Yahoo! Search Results

So what I can take here is ZCS 7.0 has got SPF inbuilt and activated? I am putting emphasize on activation as it might need few of the lines to be commented out??

Or Just vanilla install would have SPF enabled and I just need to add the SPF record in DNS and I am done?

Yes, that would be the case and it's working for me.

OK - Great let me try.

BTW How about enabling the header that you had specified in other thread? i.e SPF_PASS

Or rather I am pretty much keen in knowing where to edit or amend Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::SPF - search.cpan.org
So that I can see the header just like we see in gmail.com, any clue?

nah...doesn't look like SPF is working, this is my new installation with SPF entry added in DNS but header doesn't seem to be appearing.
