Default message?

Hello, i didn't find this information. It's possible that i can't define the exact search so i'll try to explain my self.

Is it possible that the new registered email accounts recieve greetings default email. I mean when i register new account this account gets an email message right away containing some text i.e. "Welcome, bla-bla-bla"
