Default Issue with Mailing Lists

Is there a way to flush the GAL in regards to mailing lists? We have created a granular tree style mailing list architecture but for some reason they are not properly represented in the web client.

For example we have one list: acc.list@domain.com that comprises of ap.list and ar.list which each have members of the ap/ar departments respectively.

But when in the web ui and using the "expand feature" only the contents of the ap.list (4 users in this case) show up, and emailing to acct.list only results in those 4 users receiving the mail.

So is there a way to force a rebuild of the GAL that will update it with accurate data as it is reflected in the admin gui?

zmcontrol -v: Release 7.1.4_GA_2555.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64 FOSS edition.

This is becoming a serious issue for us. I need to find a solution. Does anyone have any ideas at all?

Ideally I should only need to tell zimbra to delete and recreate the directory based on whats programmed in the admin gui. I don't know how they got disparate in the first place, but I need to fix asap.

Thanks!
