Question Zimbra Admin: Software Updates - Error (7.1.4)

Zimbra Admin: Software Updates - Error (7.1.4)

On clicking "check now" for software updates, I get an error that says

    System error oncountered
Message: system failure: java.lang.NullPointerException Error code: service. FAILURE Details: soap:Receiver.

What does this mean and what do I need to do?

I'll move this to the correct forum as it's not a question about Zimbra Desktop (which is where you posted).

It means you can't automatically check for updates. Search the forums (or bugzilla) when you have a problem or question, this has been asked recently. When you find the post(s) vote on the bug report.

Wait until it's fixed in a future version.

This is a server fix that will be included in ZCS 7.2.0.

This is a terrible customer service reply for someone who is supposed to be a consultant and moderator. If I was looking to purchase this product and reading through this forum to get an idea of what kind of help I could receive through forums, YOU would be a BIG deterrent for spending company money on this product.
