Default mail store vmdk too large, need to change disks

A little background:
We attached a large (2tb) vmdk to store our mail, mounted to /opt/zimbra/store. VMware doesn't do snapshots of volumes this large so we need to downsize. We are currently using less than 100g of the 2tb volume.

My plan is:
- Create a new vmdk to attach to our mailbox vm at /media/temp
- rsync /opt/zimbra/store to the new volume
- stop zimbra, sync again
- umount the 2tb vmdk
- change the mount for the new vmdk to /opt/zimbra/store.
- start zimbra

Anyone see an issue with this?

-Kevin

That should work fine.

If you are using the Network Edition of Zimbra, you can use HSM to just move it all to the new volume online for you with less of a headache.
