Restoring accounts and messages from full copy

Hi.

I have recently had to rebuid a bugged installation that had been working great. The backup copy has a problem with tomcat not starting, but contains all of the user accounts and messages.

I have a clean installation now, and need to know what parts of the backup of /opt/zimbra to restore to the new installation, or if this is even possible without reintroducing the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
