Default POP3 blacklist?

Hi,

We have someone probing our POP3 accounts for weak passwords.

We have failed login lockout enabled and swatch notifying us of the abuse, but it's still problematic.

I searched the forum but didn't see a way to blacklist IPs from access the POP3 service. Is that feasible or something best handled at the firewall if we want to try and implement?

All best.

I would handle that at my firewall level. If I have an idiot like that I don't want that IP anywhere around my network. I would ban than IP at my firewall.

Just my thinking

Thanks Spectra, we did indeed go the firewall route. Cheers.
