How to keep "Department" information of accounts.
We are planning to migrate from postfix-MySql_virtual-user setup to Zimbra. I have installed a trial Network version and doing some tests. On our current setup, we have mailman for maillist management for tens of lists. We have over 6000+ users with many departments.
We need to frequently report the accounts in departments. Is there a way to record department information of every account owner ? Or, can we use the "distribution list" field for keeping department information, and not for message distribution ?
If the answer is yes, then here goes another related question ;
Can we create a single script to import users and assign their dist.list. memberships at the same time ? (We could do this with UIMPORT of NetWare)
