timed out while receiving the initial server greeting

Browser based client times out on random days. Not everyday, or at least during business hours everyday.

zimbra.log for the last 5 days with the time outs grep'd:


Of course all of the end users are freaking out over the 10 - 15 minute period this happens

The timeout could be cause by any number of problems. Please update your forum profile with the output of the following command (do not post the output in this thread):

zmcontrol -v

Has this problem just started or has it been happening for a while? Is this a new install or an upgraded system? Any recent updates to the server? Have you checked the server load (including disk i/o) at the time the problem occurs? What's the hardware specs of this server? Are these users local to the server or remote? Is it just with the web UI or fat clients as well? Any firewall or SElinux on this server?
