Default Another SSL Question

I'm wanting to start to use SSL on my server.

I've already applied a commercial SSL.

I've discovered that only the admin page is available via https and I'm sure this link is the fix:

CLI zmtlsctl to set Web Server Mode - Zimbra :: Wiki

My question is, if I use 'https mode' everyone here will absolutely freak because of the address change and I'd like to try it out and see how it works before I get bombarded with a thousand questions and accused of poor communication.

It seems 'both mode' would allow me to use the encryption, make sure it works and i can explain it to bosses and users, and then I could switch to 'https mode' once everyone is familiar with it.

Is that a reasonable expectation?

Also, any issues with my version and switching modes?

Thanks,
bubarooni

Yes, that is. Actually, you can also using "mixed" and "redirect" without interfering the user. "both" is the proper choice for trial the setting but "redirect" maybe a better choice for implementation if you wish to applying SSL encryption on webmail access for everyone.

In my case, No. There would be an issue if you have self-signed certificate due to a weird warning regarding "untrusted certificate" but it should not be a problem for you because you use a commercial certificate.
