Default safely disable anti-virus feature on a running zcs system?

dear all,

in the early beginning, we choose to disable ZCS's anti-spam and anti-virus features, cause we have another anti-spam/anti-virus gateway in front of mail server.

but recently , for some reasons, we choose to enable the anti-virus feature to test if clamav can also provide kind of virus protection.

after testing, when we want to close this feature and found some emails are put into queues and can not be delivered.

this error messages were found :

Code:
(host 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1] said: 451 4.5.0 Error in processing, id=24487-01, virus_scan FAILED: AV: ALL VIRUS SCANNERS FAILED (in reply to end of DATA command))
[/SIZE][/SIZE]

we have to enable the anti-virus again in order to deliver these emails, so, my question is how could we safely and totally disable the anti-virus on this running system?

it's a ZCS7.1.1 Standard edition.

any advice on this? thanks.

I had the same problem. To fix this, restart zimbra and everything goes just fine.
