Default Emails over 10mb, should get a bounce back?

Sent some test emails with an attachment around 9mb I would assume none came through due to attachment being to large. But should't the sender get an bounce email?

They will, after five days - that's the normal period for a bounce message. Check your log files to see what happened to the email.
