Best practice to add stores?

Have a 40g LVM for OS I would like to add an additional store around 75g. What is the best practice for this? one large 75g? or maybe 4 20gigs?

I mounted the 2nd store to /opt/zimbra/store2
When I try to add it I get "The volume path is invalid!
directory does not exist or is not writeable."

I just added this drive and formatted it as ext4 ... am i missing something? I'm sure I am
