Exclamation Cache folder eating up harddisk space?!

Hi together,

on my private zimbra server, the imap-cache seems to grow without limit.

The folder /opt/zimbra/data/mailboxd/imap/cache is already 64GB large with a huge amout of *.i4c Files like

de519169-fa62-47e8-8322-99e7b740b2dc_655_0000018041_0000000389.i4c

Can this be cleaned up? - my harddisk (100GB) is already 87% full - about 2/3 in cache...

Thanks for info.
Sascha

After cleaning up the harddisk about 2 weeks ago, it's at 85% again. In the logs, I can't find anything unusual.

me too
now i see on rsync reports a lot of
Code:
deleting zimbra/data/mailboxd/imap/cache/ff395ced-e31d-490a-a6b9-f78da582ef72_2_0000073735_0000000001.i4c
grep zimbra/data/mailboxd/imap/cache/ /tmp/report|wc -l
63719
now i have freed 16 giga of this cache
this a large company, more then 100 workastation
this cache was created 3 days ago and yestarday was deleted
there is no alarm, i am interested on what created it, maybe some search on webmail that results in a very large set of mails?
