If you find a way please let us know. I was told that it can't be done. Exporting a GAL or individual distribution lists would be VERY helpful!!!

Default Export Gal to csv

Hi,

If you are using Zimbra Gal:

Log into admin UI, go to Accounts, click over the galsync account, hit View Mail, then

https://myserver.mydomain.com/servic...uth=co&fmt=csv .

Where _Sourcename is the Gal Sync Source you configured in your Domain.

Regards.

Default Exporting GAL or Distribution Lists

I did not see the "galsync account" - is there some other help I could look at?

No, another person in the department did it. We when from exchange to zimbra and he used a "wizard" to make the move, but I do have admin control.

At this point downloading the lists to a csv file is still wanted but we need to edit the GAL. We have users who have their maiden name in there somehow. It's all very strange.

aaahhhh, i get it...

I suppose you want to update the contacts in the gal?

If so, just go to the admin UI, pick the accounts, make changes you need, after that, the gal will be updated based in gal settings.

Or, you can play with cli zmprov. http://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zmprov_Examples

Regards.

I have the same issue. I would like to export the GAL to a csv file. I do not have a galsync account that I can access. We do have a GAL list as all users are listed there.

Is there command line that will allow me to export the GAL list?
