Default Zimbra with Barracuda setup

HI,
I am new to the Zimbra setup. We have a server that is setup for MTA and server for mailbox. We want to setup Barracuda infront of our MTA server. how is everyone else setting up their Barracuda Spam&AV appliance?

i'm thinking to remove the MTA and just have the mailbox and Barracuda forwarding mail back and forth. is that possible? or do i need to install MTA on our mailbox but disable AV and Antispam?

thanks
