Default External hostnames showing as local IP

If i send emails from my @hotmail.com account to my zimbra server email account and then check emails headers its show as:

Received: from blu0-omc4-s24.blu0.hotmail.com (unknown [XXX.XX.64.1])

XXX.XX.64.1 is my router IP address.

Since all zimbra logs show this IP and not the correct ones, i need to track down those IPs and ban... getting some brute force attacks lately.

you can start by checking your DNS records etc., go to the Split DNS article and run all the commands in the 'Verify...' section of that article.

The problem was my internet router doing masquerade.
